We supply you with skilled Filipino crew that has STCW95 qualifications at minimum. A skilled Filipino average salary in the Philippines is $180 - $280 per month. They have to support themselves and family with this salary. So you can imagine the incentive when they have an opportunity to work on a yacht with all expenses paid and receiving a salary of lets say $1000 per month. Plus the POEA registration and Transit visa is based on the employment contract with your yacht. So, they are obligated to that yacht until the contract is finished, otherwise, they have to return to the Philippines to be processed by the POEA. So no jumping to another yacht for more money, they would be deported back to the Philippines and black listed, unable to get another visa. In addition to that, they are responsible for their own repatriation costs as well as their replacements travel cost to the yacht as stated in the POEA standard Seafarers contract.
